This is another amazing book by the awesome Lex Martin, but there is no wonder about it because all her books are beautiful with awesome heroines and swoon worthy heroes.I was a bit reluctant when I first started the book considering Daren's past with Clementine, but he redeems himself in the most beautiful way.
Daren, sexy NFL player, and Maddie, confident journalist, have been introduced in Dearest Clementine for the first time, but their love story only comes to life later.
What I admired the most about these characters was their drive to succeed in life and their discipline.However, their disastrous love lives make them realize that something is missing.
When their careers and lives collide sparks fly.Doing a sport segment is not something Maddie usually does, but this brings her closer to Daren than she has ever wanted.Because they can't fight their onscreen chemistry in their personal lives, they decide to become friends with benefits.But what started as something casual, soon becomes more meaningful.
Their love story is intense, really sexy and filled with sweet moments.I loved how protective of Maddie was Daren and how he stood by her side when she had to face the disaster at her work place.
The epilogue was the perfect last touch for the end of this wonderful series.I recommend this book and the series with all my heart! <3
